About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commodity Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing Category/procurement strategies for commodity and specialized materials in support of a worldwide life sciences manufacturer. This position is responsible for managing the supplier relationships as well as internal stakeholders; as part of the sourcing team. This person will develop, socialize, and execute commodity strategies, lead supplier selection activities, and negotiate and execute purchase contracts to the assigned commodities and monitor compliance and globalize processes. The Commodity manager will also collaborate with site technical subject matter experts to introduce new Waters products with the highest levels of quality at the lowest landed cost while ensuring adequate capacity, on-time delivery, and commitment to continuous improvement.
