Job Description We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Commodity Manager to lead the global sourcing strategy for Indirect services. This role is a part of the Global Indirect Strategic Sourcing Organization within our Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) business function. You will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that deliver world-class supplier performance in quality, service, cost, working capital, and innovation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, analytical mindset, and proven experience in indirect sourcing and supplier negotiations across a global footprint. This role reports to the Global Sourcing Manager, Indirect Services and you will work from either Mayfield Heights, OH or Milwaukee, WI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• The ability to travel 20% of the time.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or global commodity management
• Experience working in a matrixed, global organization with cross-functional collaboration
• Familiarity with contract law, IP considerations, and service-level agreements
• Proficiency in sourcing tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba)
• Experience with Engineering Services, Contingent Labor, HR Services, or other Professional Services

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global Sourcing strategies for assigned commodities within Indirect Sourcing.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure optimal value and performance.
• Collaborate with Business Unit stakeholders such as Engineering, Legal, and Finance to align Sourcing strategies with Rockwell's Strategic Framework.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for innovation and cost reduction.
• Lead should-cost modeling, pricing analysis, and benchmarking to support strategic decision-making and cost optimization.
• Drive supplier negotiations to achieve best-in-class commercial terms, service levels, and long-term value creation.
• Manage supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and regular business reviews.
• Drive risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support make vs. buy decisions, outsourcing strategies, and supplier consolidation initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts with commodity team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Achieve year-over-year improvement in total cost, quality, service, and working capital.
