About The Position

Assemblix LLC is looking for a Commodities Coordinator. Schedule- Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Pay Rate: $19-24 an hour depending on experience Job Summary The Commodities Coordinator works alongside the facility Operations team to help plan, direct, and coordinate commodities inventory and shipments. This role ensures accurate reporting, quality control, and efficient logistics coordination.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Data entry and advanced Excel skills (graphs, pivot tables)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn proprietary systems and software
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
  • Physical ability to push/pull, squat, twist, and perform repetitive movements without injury

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree in a relevant field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in product testing and quality assurance

Responsibilities

  • Create daily and weekly commodities reports for management
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure minimal contamination
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence (mail, fax, email)
  • Develop and share knowledge of commodities stored and sold through the organization
  • Prepare shipping documents including work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders
  • Record shipment data (weight, charges, damages, discrepancies) for reporting and accounting
  • Collaborate with Logistics to resolve issues such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance
  • Assist with budgeting and data tracking using Microsoft Excel
  • Support customer service issue resolution as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace
  • Identify and report opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards
