OPEX Corporation is currently looking for a full time Commissioning Technician. This position will require the employee to be flexible with their hours and travel schedule. The position does require 50%-75% travel to installation locations within North America. OPEX Corporation is more than a manufacturer of machines. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electronics and/or equivalent hands-on job experience.
  • Must have strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to dis-assemble and repair electro-mechanical devices
  • Must have related experience in working with computer controlled electro-mechanical equipment
  • Proficient use of the Microsoft Windows operating system
  • Basic networking skills
  • Possessing a driver’s license, and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to installation sites to commission systems
  • Installation, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing of warehouse automation material handling equipment.
  • Interact with Sr. Support, and management to analyze and correct any equipment performance issues.
  • Work with Engineering to troubleshoot new hardware and debug software.
  • Completing and submitting weekly online timecards and expense report
