This position is based in Wichita, Kansas The Commissioning Technician specializes in the testing, startup, and troubleshooting of new or upgraded water and wastewater treatment equipment, such as pumps, SCADA systems, and chemical feeders. Requirements
- Class C Water/Wastewater Certification
- Class C Driver's License
- High School Diploma
Responsibilities
- Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and field I/O verification for PLC controls
- Assist in starting up new equipment, including calibrating chemical dosing pumps and tuning valve actuators
- Work with operators to ensure seamless integration into existing infrastructure
- Identify root causes for electrical or mechanical issues during startup
