About The Position

A Commissioning Project Engineer (CxPE) supports the delivery of data center capacity through managing project milestone auditing, calibration, and commissioning execution for new construction and Capital Improvement Projects (CIPP). This position is part of a career development program, which aims to develop the CxPE into a Commissioning Engineer (CxE) through a three-phase mentoring program. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or 1+ years of relevant discipline work experience
1+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems
Qualified trades personnel Mechanical, Electrical or relevant discipline.

Manage the creation of projects within internal Amazon systems and administrative tasks related to the Cx process
Support the Request for Quote process, ensuring all relevant documentation is available for the commissioning vendors to provide a detailed quote.
Manage the required vendor project deliverables ensuring on time delivery for the CxE's review.
Manage project resourcing ensuring all vendors comply with the Leads Qualification Process (LQP).
Create and manage the approval of the Change Management requests for the commissioning activities of the assigned project.

Responsibilities
