As a Commissioning Engineer II in our Chapel Hill office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering (or other engineering disciplines with applicable experience).
  • 10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for research, healthcare, or higher education facilities.
  • Professional engineering registration is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e., Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out activities related to project construction and contract administration.
  • Develop and coordinate system test procedures.
  • Organize user training sessions.
  • Administer functional performance tests.
  • Conduct field observations.
  • Attend progress meetings.
  • Assist in document control.
