About The Position
The Commission Specialist reports to a Senior Commissions Accountant and supports the processing of commission payments to Stream's commercial real estate brokers. The position is responsible for the timely and accurate input of the calculated commission information into Stream's proprietary CRM database. It is also responsible for managing inquiries and for providing outstanding customer service to the brokerage team. Responsibilities include processing co-broker fee splits by meticulously reviewing the details of each commissionable transaction, timely and accurately applying cash to commissionable transactions in the CRM, ensuring all commission-related documents are properly filed, stored, and available for audit, maintaining accurate supporting documentation for recordkeeping and compliance purposes, assisting in auditing commission inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly, liaising with agents to address commission-related inquiries and facilitate resolution of discrepancies, and collaborating with the finance department, transaction coordinators, and brokers to ensure seamless commission operations.
