About The Position

As a Commission Sales Associate at Bloomingdale's, your primary role will be to guide and inspire customers, helping them to make style a source of creative energy in their lives. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service through engaging conversations, establishing long-term client relationships both in-store and online. Your passion for fashion, styling talent, and product knowledge will be essential in creating a welcoming and inquisitive shopping experience for our customers. You will actively circulate the sales floor, assess customer needs, and promote our Loyalty programs, ensuring a seamless shopping experience from start to finish. In addition to customer engagement, you will be responsible for operational excellence. This includes leveraging our fulfillment system, maintaining merchandise to sell standards, and ensuring the upkeep of the sales floor and fitting rooms. Your role will also involve participating in merchandising and operational requirements, contributing to the overall success of the store. You will be expected to embrace technology to drive sales with both in-store and online clients, creating an easy and enjoyable shopping experience. To succeed in this role, you will need to practice open and continuous communication, keeping your team informed and effectively presenting information in a clear and concise manner. Excellent interpersonal skills are crucial, as you will be working across various functional lines and levels within the organization. You will also need to think creatively and strategically to meet customer needs, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.
