Joseph’s Founder is a third-generation butcher, so you can imagine our Meat Department is a point of emphasis in our stores. Our Meat Associate is a key player in our success as they prepare the finest cuts of beef to our handmade sausages. This position requires schedule flexibility, including availability to work nights, weekends, overnights, and holidays, as production needs dictate. A Meat Associate performs their tasks primarily in the Commissary department. Work involves walking, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting products weighing up to 80 pounds. Work is done inside a Meat preparation room and Meat refrigerated cooler, you will be exposed to various temperature changes and work environments. Work also includes frequent interaction with fellow employees.
