The position involves maintaining and cleaning all work areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils to the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene required by the hotel. The role also includes coordinating with colleagues regarding operational problems, making different types of bread and pastry items, and being familiar with the operational procedures of all kitchen equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and personal safety. Additionally, the position requires assisting in the implementation of food safety and hygiene standards, participating in regular meetings and training programs, and responding to changes in the food and beverage function as dictated by the industry, company, or hotel. The candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, plating, presentation, kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies.
