Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in commercial operations, procurement, or sales in industrials, manufacturing, or materials
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a proven record of securing favorable agreements with suppliers or customers
  • Experience building commercial systems and processes; ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills across levels and functions, including working with suppliers, customers, site teams, and leadership
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment with shifting priorities

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement for new projects and support procurement at operating sites, including supplier sourcing, pricing, contract negotiations, and vendor management
  • Contribute to commercial activities across byproduct and end-product sales, from identifying customers and supporting qualification to participating in negotiations and regional strategy
  • Develop the policies, templates, and processes that make supplier negotiations and customer engagements consistent, efficient, and scalable
  • Partner with internal teams to establish a center of excellence for commercial operations, covering both procurement and sales
  • Produce concise, well-structured documents and presentations for executives, partners, and customers
