About The Position

Tallahassee State College is excited to announce openings for the position of Commercial Vehicle Driving Adjunct Instructor in the Division of Workforce Development. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• At least three (3) years of full-time tractor-trailer truck driving experience with at least one of the three (3) years within the last 24 months.
• Possess a current State of Florida Class ‘A’ License.
• Knowledge of and experience with tractor-trailer truck driving principles and applications.
• Clean & safe driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to keep accurate & thorough records.
• Skilled in organization of tasks and responsive follow-through.

Nice To Haves

• Prior history of commercial vehicle instruction/training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, service and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development.
• Work with the students and other Commercial Vehicle Driving educational staff to assist students with academic and career plan.
