Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal or real estate title insurance experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of commercial title related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review completed or updated title searches for commercial transactions depending on the locality and corporate standards.
  • Analyze records, such as liens, judgments, easements and property survey to determine ownership and legal restrictions and to verify legal description of property and completeness of records.
  • Create invoices based on properly priced commitments, endorsements, and policies using appropriate schedule of fees and charges and communications with the national pricing team and local offices.
  • Review and approve a variety of documentation including deeds, loan documents, operating agreements, and corporate resolutions.
  • Submit documentation for recording across national jurisdictions.
  • Select appropriate templates for policies and endorsements for both standard and extended coverage.
  • In some regions/locations, consult with local underwriters to review search packages and on matters that require escalation.
