About The Position
About the role: GTT is hiring a Commercial Tire Technician to perform commercial tire installations, repairs, and servicing. This is a hands-on position suitable for someone who takes safety seriously and works with urgency.
Requirements
- Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record preferred.
- Willingness to work in heat, cold, and outdoor conditions.
- Commit to following safety rules daily.
- Minimize rework whenever possible.
- Achieve productivity goals based on store volume.
- Finish tasks on time.
Responsibilities
- Mount and dismount commercial tires properly.
- Perform flat repairs and inspections.
- Manage wheel end basics, torque specifications, and safe lifting practices.
- Keep a clean work area and follow shop procedures.
- Document work performed and tire condition notes.
