About The Position

As a Commercial P&D driver you will work out of our Wilks location providing P&D service to our Commercial Customers and move product from store locations, Warehouse to customers as needed.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Report to and work under the direction of Store Manager and Support Sales Staff, such as Commercial Sales Manager, or Sales team.
Physically load and unload product for safe transportation.
Properly and accurately check load invoice against product load and be accountable of process to management.
Consistent work attendance, as it is important to be consistent with customer's delivery days and schedules.
Clean and maintain delivery truck and trailer.
Maintain and inspect truck and trailer regularly to keep a safe and well-kept delivery unit.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Report any safety issues immediately to management.
Help keep shop areas clean and organized.
Maintain a professional appearance.

Requirements

• Clean, valid Driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have or able to obtain DOT Health Card
• Physically able to roll commercial truck tires onto and off trailer ramp (50 -150 lbs.).
• Ability to drive for 8+ hours per day within DOT limits.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Commitment to follow all safety procedures and comply with DOT regulations and safety requirements.
• Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
• Strong work ethic; independently motivated to produce results with limited influence from others.
• Hard worker, someone who works diligently to get tasks done and demonstrates personal characteristics, such as responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamwork.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL a plus, but not required.
