About The Position
Bergey's Inc. is seeking a dedicated Commercial Tire Delivery Driver to join our team. As a family-owned business established in 1924, we have built a reputation for providing exceptional service to our customers across Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey. Our company operates over 50 locations and employs more than 1,700 team members, all of whom contribute to our mission of delivering quality products and services. The Commercial Tire Delivery Driver will be responsible for the secure and timely transportation of products, ensuring that all deliveries are made accurately and efficiently. This role requires a commitment to maintaining a professional representation of the company in all interactions with customers, as well as adherence to safety policies and transportation regulations. In this position, you will be tasked with verifying outgoing and incoming products for accuracy, collecting payments from customers, and ensuring that all necessary administrative paperwork accompanies each delivery. You will also be responsible for maintaining records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's logs and mileage records. The role may occasionally require the operation of powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
