Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of provable solar commercial experience.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the work is to be performed.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and driving check.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of solar energy systems and components.
• Completion of relevant coursework or training programs in solar installation.
• OSHA 10 (recommended).
• OSHA 30 (preferred).
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Carry, hoist, and lift solar panels weighing 25-35 lbs, along with other electrical/racking components.
• Walk up staircases and work on rooftops.
• Use impact guns and hand tools for installation tasks.
• Build ballast systems per manufacturer's specifications.
• Lift/carry 32lb ballast blocks throughout the roof and place them on designated areas of the ballast system per approved City drawings.
• Manage wiring by running/pulling DC wire (homeruns/jumpers) through multiple raceways.
