About The Position

Freedom Solar Power is looking for dedicated, humble, and hardworking Commercial Solar Installers for national commercial solar-based projects with either construction, electrical or solar experience! You will join a crew of solar installers to install 10kW to 1MW solar systems. This position is 90% travel; mostly 4 weeks out, with occasional weekend travel/work required. THIS TRAVELING INSTALLER ROLE IS BASED OUT OF AUSTIN, TX.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in commercial solar installation, electrical, or construction, electrical coding strongly desired.
Can physically lift, bend, squat, and haul 50+ lbs.
Capable of working in hot climates.
Introduction to commercial solar mechanical and electrical principles.
A valid Driverâs License and clean MVR are required to drive company vehicles.
Willingness to travel weeks at a time across the US, 90% of the year.

Work with a team of installers on commercial solar projects.
Safely executing quality workmanship, and timely completion of work assignments.
Ensure proper safety, quality, and attitude per all company policies.
Responsible for perpetuating the mission, goals, and values of Freedom Solar Power.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
