As a Solar Installer at Newport Power, you will play a pivotal role in configuring, installing, inspecting, and maintaining solar PV systems for our valued customers. The position emphasizes quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that all installations meet the highest standards. You will be responsible for assessing the environment and identifying any hazards associated with installation, ensuring compliance with safety codes and manufacturer specifications. This role requires mapping out installation plans, sealing systems against weather elements, labeling and terminating electrical wiring, and testing system functionality. Collaboration with team members is essential to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects. Effective communication with supervisors, coworkers, and customers is also crucial to provide updates and address any concerns. You will follow established procedures and guidelines for installation, troubleshooting, and repair activities while maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment. Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations is a fundamental aspect of this role, as is performing other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
