About The Position

The Service Supervisor is the primary point of contact between the customer and Tri-City service operations. This position is directly responsible for the supervision of all job-related activities. This position may be requested for consultative selling and must be capable of proactively identifying and promoting opportunities for electrical services that will enhance the customer’s total facility operation.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the electrical construction industry, focusing on electrical services operations.
  • Working knowledge of service estimating to include time and material work.
  • Business development abilities, including selling future work opportunities and recommending preventative maintenance.
  • Must be familiar with various electrical field concepts, best practices, electrical codes, and NFPA.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical operations and calculations to calculate labor, materials, and/or cost estimates for projects and work orders.
  • Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license and be in good standing with the company’s driving policy.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiation, preparation, and delivery of all proposals and quotations to the customer with assistance from the division estimator.
  • Performs estimating duties for Time and Material and change order costs for routine service proposals.
  • Responsible for the timely and effective project management of all work performed for Tri-City’s customers.
  • Coordination of the delivery of Tri-City products and services to customers in a timely fashion and in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
  • Achieving sales and gross margin objectives.
  • Responsible for the effective utilization of field manpower.
  • Responsible for ensuring safety standards are adhered to.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction, including retention and promptly resolving customer complaints.
  • Review and assist with approving all division billings for in-progress and completed projects.
  • Assist with the evaluation of employee performance.
  • Assist with the progressive discipline of employees.
  • Must be familiar with and adhere to Tri-City’s company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Assist in identifying and delivering training for continued growth while improving the quality and effectiveness of the service operations.
  • May be required to perform electrical installation or maintenance work as necessary.
