About The Position

As a Commercial Service Plumber with our electric and plumbing company, you start your day by reviewing construction drawings and cut sheets. With your tools in hand, you dig, install, and test underground sanitary and grease piping. You expertly rough-in new drain, waste, and vent systems, and install roof drains and storm drainage piping. Threading building gas piping is next, followed by fitting various plumbing fixtures like sinks, urinals, and water heaters. Your day involves physical tasks, sometimes working on ladders or scaffolding, ensuring everything meets safety standards. Throughout the day, you maintain a professional demeanor while providing excellent customer service, occasionally training less experienced team members. You end your shift by checking in with your manager, knowing you've contributed to the smooth operation of essential plumbing systems.

Requirements

Experience operating heavy machinery
Possession of personal hand tools (wrenches, nut drivers, sheet metal tools) and cordless drill
Ability to occasionally lift items up to 50 lbs.
Basic computer skills
Familiarity with Service Fusion software
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Personable while working on a team
Valid driver's license with a clean/insurable driving record
5+ years as an experienced Plumber (preferred)
