About The Position

Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Service Plumber to perform a variety of plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for commercial clients. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational plumbing program or apprenticeship is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Commercial Service Plumber.
  • Thorough knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, equipment, and current plumbing codes.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, and participate in an on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local and national plumbing codes.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues accurately and efficiently, including leaks, clogs, pipe damage, and fixture malfunctions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future problems.
  • Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubing with various materials (e.g., copper, PVC, PEX) using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Install and repair water heaters, water softeners, and other plumbing-related equipment.
  • Conduct pressure tests on plumbing systems to ensure proper function and identify leaks.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during all plumbing work.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain plumbing problems, proposed solutions, and estimated costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
  • Keep company vehicle and tools clean, organized, and in good working condition.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls as required.
