About The Position

Install and troubleshoot commercial mechanical and electrical equipment at customer sites. Read blueprints and schematics, perform basic wiring, plumbing, and mechanical assembly, and ensure all installations meet safety and code standards. Provide professional customer interaction, document work performed, and manage parts and job-related expenses. Travel to job sites, including overnight assignments. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–1 year of related field experience
  • Ability to safely operate mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Basic knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and/or electrical systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Basic plumbing and soldering knowledge
  • Understanding of electrical fundamentals
  • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and material handling
  • Strong customer service skills, including clear communication and follow-through
  • Ability to manage expense reports and travel budgets
  • Lift 50–75 lbs. with or without assistance
  • Climb ladders up to 8 feet; rooftop work required
  • Drive 8–10 hours per day
  • Perform frequent kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing, and pulling
  • Work in varying conditions (noise, heat, cold, wet, slippery surfaces)
  • Travel overnight and work multi-day job assignments as needed
