About The Position

Secure Site Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Security Systems Technician to join our growing team. This position involves the installation, programming, commissioning, and maintenance of Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, and Fire/Life Safety systems, as well as Structured Cabling and Network Equipment. The ideal candidate will have solid technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage small to mid-size security system projects. Experience with electronic door hardware installation is a strong plus.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial security field installation and service experience
• Working knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems
• Strong networking skills: rack setup, IP addressing, port forwarding, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service commercial security systems, including analog/IP video, access control, intrusion, and fire alarm systems
• Manage system programming, commissioning, and daily project updates
• Troubleshoot and repair system and network-related issues
• Collaborate with customers and team members to ensure high-quality service and satisfaction
• Maintain company standards, documentation, and compliance with Secure Site Solutions policies and procedures
• Attend manufacturer trainings, seminars, and certification programs to maintain technical proficiency
