About The Position

The Commercial Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory. This role involves building relationships, closing new business, and ensuring customer retention while acting as the brand steward for Johnson Controls Security. The position requires a commanding knowledge of the product line and services offered by Johnson Controls Security.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to present to senior level executives.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule.
  • Available for local travel.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT, or other technology sales industry.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to secure profitable sales.
  • Demonstrate the Johnson Controls Security brand and its leading position in electronic security.
  • Sell additional products and services to existing accounts and renew customer agreements.
  • Identify prospects using creative lead-generating techniques and maintain productive working relationships with existing customers.
  • Establish call plans and customer follow-up strategies, applying time and territory management techniques.
  • Conduct post-installation follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and commitments are met.
  • Process work orders and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved procedures.
