About The Position

This posting is part of Phillips 66's Talent Pipeline Program for future Commercial Scheduler opportunities, actively building a network of talented professionals for upcoming positions. As a Commercial Scheduler, you will play a key role in planning, managing, and optimizing Energy Commodity activities that support reliable operations. You will help maintain efficient movements, support supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement to keep the global commercial network running smoothly. Energy Commodities across all modes of transportation (MOT) include but are not limited to: NGL, LPG, Clean Products, Crude, Intermediates, Heavies, Coke, Sulfur, Solvents, Renewables, Natural Gas, etc.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3 or more years of experience in supply chain, scheduling, logistics, or planning.
  • Intermediate proficiency with scheduling or supply chain systems and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Travel up to 5% of the time.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • Experience supporting supply, trading, procurement, or logistical operations requiring a deep understanding of the commercial drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for nominating on third party assets for daily/monthly Energy Commodity purchases/sales deals, transportation, and/or storage movements.
  • Performs confirmation of nominations with upstream and downstream parties.
  • Manages after hours, weekend, and Holiday calls about nomination changes and operational issues affecting movements.
  • Monitors forecasted inventory vs. nominations and obligations to determine purchase/sale imbalances and works to resolves imbalances with appropriate parties on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Provides direction to internal and third-party operators to ensure flow of information to maintain safe, efficient, and dependable movements.
  • Communicate with internal field personnel, third-party assets (pipelines, terminals, etc.), traders, suppliers, markets, producers, and shippers to resolve various daily operational issues.
  • Identifies potential downstream constraints and collaborates with customers, suppliers, operations, and other third-parties or internal teams to schedule optimal quantities and minimize costs.
  • Participate/lead in business development/continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company Marine and Terminal Vetting safety policies.
