About The Position

The Commercial Sales Representative at SERVPRO of Southwest Portland is responsible for promoting and selling franchise services within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with commercial customers, meeting sales goals, and educating clients about the benefits of SERVPRO's cleaning and restoration services. The position requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills who can thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of progressively responsible business-to-business sales experience.
  • Experience with commercial sales and marketing within the service sector.
  • Superb sales, customer service, administrative, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong business and financial background with a process-and-results-driven attitude.
  • Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is desired.
  • Working knowledge of current business software technologies is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quota by executing the sales cycle and setting up closing appointments.
  • Grow and develop a commercial customer base by identifying new prospects and cultivating relationships using marketing materials.
  • Complete Emergency Ready Profiles (ERPs) and discuss the benefits of emergency event preparation.
  • Build commercial customer relationships by educating them on SERVPRO's services.
  • Compile and maintain commercial center of influence (COI) information and identify top contacts to develop into clients.
  • Provide clear and accurate pretesting, scoping of services, and job estimates.
  • Monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Attend, coordinate, and promote marketing, networking, and continuing education events.
  • Conduct daily marketing contacts to potential clients.
  • Increase sales territory revenue by consistently achieving sales goals.
