About The Position

LakeSide Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is looking to hire a Safety Minded Commercial Licensed Driver to join our team in Moses Lakes, WA. This position will work Monday-Friday 5:30Am to 3:00Pm with occasional Overtime. Driver rate of pay is $28.20/HR.

Requirements

• Commercial Driver's License A or B with Airbrake endorsement.
• Clean driving record.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs minimum.
• Basic knowledge of truck components for DOT pre- and post-trip inspections.

Nice To Haves

• Waste experience preferred, but not required.
• Safety minded customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive on specified routes to collect solid waste.
• Read route tablet and service each customer identified on the route or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading, often without helpers.
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
