About The Position
Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking experienced Commercial Roofers to join our team in Macon, Georgia. The skilled Commercial Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of various commercial roofing systems. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $33, not including prevailing wage, and includes a $1,000 signing bonus for new hires. The successful candidates will be expected to perform their duties in compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards, ensuring a safe work environment for themselves and their colleagues. The role involves the installation of different types of roofing systems, including Built-Up Roofing (BUR), EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems. Roofers will be required to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, demonstrating a strong understanding of the tools of the trade. The job requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, which necessitates physical stamina and the ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility to complete tasks and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Effective communication with foremen, supervisors, and other Tremco employees is essential to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and safely. Candidates must have a reliable form of transportation and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
