About The Position

Tecta America Oklahoma is a commercial roofing contractor proficient with shingle, metal TPO, and PVC roofing systems and we have professionally installed or repaired commercial roofing for banks, hospitals, schools, restaurants, and apartment complexes just to name a few. We are licensed, bonded, insured, and we have the quality and experience you can trust. Since 1994 we have been a full-service commercial and residential roofing company. We are seeking Commercial Roofing Service Technician for our Muskogee, OK location The basic function of the Service Technician is to complete repairs to the specification of manufacturers and customers’ satisfaction. This position will inspect roofs for damage and investigate roof leaks. Service Technicians diagnose the source of the leak and repair the roof in accordance with manufacturer specifications. This position report to the Service Manager.

Requirements

• Commercial Roofing Experience is Ideal
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Must be able to work with and learn from fellow technicians and lead techs.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on all roof systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).
• Perform repairs in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines. Ensures all work is completed in a craftsman like manner and to the specification, and satisfaction of the customer and Tecta America.
• Trains assistant technician on proper repair techniques.
• Ensures all tools and materials needed for repairs are on truck prior to leaving the Shop.
• Takes before and after photos of all repairs. Fills out paperwork properly and accurately.
• Ensures timesheet for themselves and their assistant technicians are filled out accurately and turned in daily.
• Performs any other duty or task assigned by the Service Superintendent, Service Manager and/or Operating Unit President.
