JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company is currently searching for Commercial Roofing Laborers at our Akron, OH location Pay starting at $19.50+/hr. BOE Se habla Español! Roofing Laborer Summary: Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles). Able to work well in a team setting Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling. Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety
Requirements
- 1 year of commercial roofing experience
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- Able to pass pre employment background check and drug screen
- Authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).
- Work well in a team setting
- Work outside in extreme weather conditions
- Lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
- Climb a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof
- Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety
