About The Position

The Commercial Roofing Foreman at D. C. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a foreman in roofing.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of up to 10 roof technicians in roofing projects.
• Ensure safe and productive work that meets customer and company standards.
• Oversee all aspects of roofing from tear-off to repair and maintenance.
• Manage the installation of roof-related sheet metal components.
• Foster safety, teamwork, and discipline among crew members.
• Provide regular training, evaluation, and feedback to crew personnel.
• Effectively manage assigned crew, materials, equipment, and administrative tasks.
• Examine roofs and penetrations to plan jobs and allocate work strategically.
• Lead regular meetings with crew personnel to discuss safety, project progress, and schedules.
• Ensure quality installation according to specifications and plans.
• Perform installation duties as necessary.
• Solve field application problems with minimal supervision.
• Communicate regularly with project manager and report crew time and work performed daily.
• Ensure job site compliance with all safety guidelines and perform daily inspections.
