About The Position

The position is responsible for creating quotes using designated software programs for service and regional territory managers. The role involves creating proposals to help educate DDP customers about their roofing projects.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred.
• College Diploma preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with technicians and regional territory reps to build accurate quotes and proposals.
• Utilize estimating software to build quotes based on information gathered on site.
• Communicate with manufacturers/vendors to confirm and verify technical specifications and product costs.
• Provide scope of work to be included in proposal for a deliverable to customer.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, addressing questions and providing updates on estimate status.
• Manage and update cost databases, project files and other wiring documents to assure accuracy.
• Stay current with the latest roofing materials, systems and construction techniques through continued learning.
