Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of commercial roofing experience
- Driver's license preferred
- Strong knowledge of roofing safety procedures and construction materials
- Ability to cut, shape, and fit roofing materials with precision
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Able to read tape measures, shop drawings, and reproduce manufacturing details
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Working at heights using ladders, scaffolds, and stairways
- Standing, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, or crawling for long periods
- Regular lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs
- Stamina and endurance to perform physically demanding tasks safely
Responsibilities
- Installing, repairing, and replacing TPO, EPDM, PVC, and other single-ply roofing systems
- Applying adhesives, sealants, coatings, and vapor barriers to protect and insulate structures
- Cutting, fitting, and installing roofing materials such as shingles, flashing, and insulation
- Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems for quality and safety
- Leading and supporting crew members to ensure projects stay on track
- Meeting with general contractors and customers to ensure work meets expectations
