Job Description Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems on active job sites Remove old or damaged roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installation Install roofing materials including asphalt, metal, slate, and other commercial systems Cut, shape, and secure materials to meet project specifications Safely operate hand tools and power equipment Follow OSHA safety standards and all job site safety protocols Ensure compliance with local building codes and structural requirements Monitor project progress to meet deadlines and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution Protect surrounding property and maintain professionalism on job sites
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of commercial roofing experience
- Proven ability to install, repair, and service commercial roofing systems
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and installation techniques
- Experience working in a physically demanding construction environment
- Solid understanding of OSHA safety regulations
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Experience with multiple roofing systems including metal, slate, and specialty materials
- Familiarity with commercial construction job sites and timelines
- Ability to read basic plans or project specifications
- Prior experience working on large-scale commercial roofing projects
