About The Position
Tecta America Orlando, a well-established Commercial Roofing Contractor, has been serving the Central and North Florida regions since 1990. With a commitment to delivering the highest quality of customer service, safety, integrity, and professionalism, we are currently seeking experienced commercial roofers to join our team in Sanford, FL. The role involves installing and repairing roofs using various commercial roofing systems, including Built-Up Roofing (BUR), Modified Bitumen, Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO), Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), and sloped roofing materials such as tile and shingles. Candidates must be able to work effectively in a team environment and be comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions. The position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift over 50 pounds and perform tasks that involve repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 feet and working on roofs while adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
