As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Technician Helper to support our roofing technicians on job sites throughout the Memphis area. Position Overview The Technician Helper assists experienced roofing technicians with daily job-site operations. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in the commercial roofing industry with opportunities for growth and advancement for dependable team members.
Requirements
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic construction or roofing experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation and repair of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, metal, and other systems
- Load, unload, and transport roofing materials, tools, and equipment
- Remove debris and old roofing materials from job sites
- Help set up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment
- Operate basic hand and power tools as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow instructions from supervisors and senior technicians
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
