Commercial Roofing - Journeyman
About The Position
GBR Corporation is a Best of the Best, Inner Circle of Quality award winning Elevate Building Products Master Contractor dedicated to providing quality new and replacement commercial roofing services throughout south central Wisconsin. We pride ourselves on the quality of our product and craftsmanship of our highly experienced staff. GBR Corporation is seeking a Commercial Roofer Journeyman with five or more years of experience to join our team. Under the direction of a foreman and superintendent, a Journeyman will bring expertise with installation, maintenance, and repairing low-slope commercial roofing systems including, but not limited to, EPDM, TPO, PVC, built-up, and modified roofing.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in commercial roofing
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb stairs/ladders
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
Responsibilities
- Expertly install and repair commercial roofs following company standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain working knowledge of job site safety and always adhere to all safety protocols.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Perform complex flashing around curbs, pipes and roof penetrations.
- Problem-solve and resolve issues that may arise during a project.
- Maintain professional interactions with everyone: peers, supervisors, office staff, vendors, etc.
