About The Position

JR & Co., Inc. is looking for Traveling Roof Crew Members (FT) to immediately join our growing team. Are you hard working and have basic knowledge and experience in roofing? Do you enjoy working as part of a team to finish projects? Are you available to travel and begin work now? This may be the position for you!

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED minimum
• 1-2 years of experience in construction industry (entry-level) AND/OR 2+ years experience in roofing (experienced level) (Basic skills testing may be required for experienced applicants)
• OSHA 10-hour construction training (minimum or be willing to obtain if offered a position)
• Must be able to obtain security clearance on federal job sites
• Ability to follow directions and pay attention to details

Responsibilities

• Help set-up, maintain, and clean-up project sites
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA at all times, reporting safety concerns
• Efficiently measure & cut project materials, install various roofing materials constructing a weatherproof roof for our customers
• Demonstrate great time-management skills, reliability, and punctuality, meet project deadlines
• Properly manage all assigned tools, equipment, and material
