About The Position

United Community Bank is hiring a Commercial Relationship Manager (CRM). The CRM is a Senior Commercial banking and sales professional responsible for new business acquisition and the deepening of existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of commercial credit and commercial banking services and must also possess strong sales and relationship building acumen.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, finance or accounting OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 5+ years of commercial and/or middle market banking experience.
• Strong understanding of credit, commercial products, and financial statement analysis.
• Sales and relationship building skills.
• Proven ability to achieve individual goals while working in a team-based sales environment.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate historical, current, and projected financial trends, ratios, and risks to clients and bank-internal partners.
• Proven ability to work independently toward reaching and exceeding quarterly and annual goals.
• Active in the Community through industry groups, networking events and board/volunteer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships, including making loans, obtaining deposits, integrating cash management services, and offering other bank services.
• Actively monitor the financial health of the relationships managed and communicate any changes or new opportunities to internal partners.
• Establish oneself in the market through exemplary customer service, creative thinking/idea sharing, and relentless networking.
• Direct and supervise the entire loan closing process to ensure adherence to company loan policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to credit analysts and/or portfolio managers.
• Take a balanced approach to quality, profitability, and growth.
• Advocate for clients within the context of United Community's credit standards and current economic conditions.
• Network with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities.
