About The Position

Kish is hiring a full-time Commercial Relationship Manager supporting our Juniata and Mifflin county regions. This role is responsible for developing, managing, and growing a portfolio of commercial and industrial loan relationships. The Commercial Relationship Manager oversees all phases of commercial loan transactions while serving as a trusted advisor to current and prospective business clients. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality service, drive new business development, and ensure compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of one year of experience, preferably within a commercial bank or credit analysis environment
  • Strong proficiency in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics
  • Working knowledge of commercial and industrial lending policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and credit data to evaluate credit risk
  • Understanding of lending regulations and internal loan policies
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, relationship-management, and sales skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and monitor commercial and industrial loan relationships, overseeing all phases of commercial loan and product transactions
  • Promote and sell commercial banking services to existing and prospective customers through proactive business development efforts
  • Participate in community, civic, and charitable organizations to support relationship building and new business development
  • Deliver a high standard of service and responsiveness to both external customers and internal partners
  • Provide commercial and industrial lending services in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Analyze applicants’ credit history and financial information to assess creditworthiness and repayment capacity
  • Prepare clear, well-documented written credit recommendations for approval
  • Negotiate credit terms, including pricing, repayment structures, and collateral requirements
  • Manage and oversee a commercial lending portfolio of $10 million or more
  • Support ongoing portfolio maintenance, including renewals, reviews, financial statement collection, and documentation exception remediation
  • Review commercial loan documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Maintain strong knowledge of bank products and services
  • Actively cross-sell deposit accounts, cash management, IRAs, and additional lending products to meet client needs
