Our client is ESSA Bank & Trust, now part of CNB Financial Corporation A regional bank offering commercial banking, lending, and wealth management services Combines a strong local presence with the backing of a larger banking platform Stable, growing company with tremendous opportunity for career advancement Competitive compensation and benefits What You Will Be Doing Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, acting as the primary relationship owner Build relationships with business owners, CEOs, and CFOs Analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness of borrowers Structure, negotiate, and manage commercial loans and credit facilities Partner with credit teams for underwriting and loan approvals Monitor portfolio performance including risk, renewals, and compliance Identify and mitigate credit and portfolio risks Drive new business through networking, referrals, and market outreach Cross-sell banking solutions including treasury, wealth, and private banking services Collaborate internally with credit, operations, and product teams Ensure loan documentation accuracy and compliance Experience You Will Need: 2–10+ years of experience in commercial banking, lending, or relationship management roles Proven experience in managing and growing commercial client portfolios Strong experience in financial statement analysis, credit underwriting, and risk assessment Demonstrated ability in structuring and negotiating commercial loans and credit facilities Track record in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, business owners) Experience ensuring loan documentation accuracy, compliance, and regulatory adherence Strong collaboration experience with credit teams, underwriting, and internal stakeholders Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Requirements

  • 2–10+ years of experience in commercial banking, lending, or relationship management roles
  • Proven experience in managing and growing commercial client portfolios
  • Strong experience in financial statement analysis, credit underwriting, and risk assessment
  • Demonstrated ability in structuring and negotiating commercial loans and credit facilities
  • Track record in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, business owners)
  • Experience ensuring loan documentation accuracy, compliance, and regulatory adherence
  • Strong collaboration experience with credit teams, underwriting, and internal stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
