About The Position

The Commercial Rebar Project Manager at Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd. is a senior role within the Engineering Department, responsible for overseeing the cost control, supply, and administration of various concrete reinforcing projects. Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in rebar project management.
• Familiarity with ACI 318 concrete reinforcing standards.
• Minimum 5 years of detailing experience using AutoCAD and Rebarcad.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills are essential.
• Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Excel, and similar programs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous personnel management experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cost control, supply, and administration of concrete reinforcing projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Rebarcad for detailing and fabrication of rebar according to structural specifications.
• Import orders into the Electronic Operating System and coordinate fabrication and delivery requirements.
• Analyze project-specific contract documentation to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service to facilitate project management and achieve optimal results.
• Prepare and cost estimates for smaller projects and supply project weights/requirements to the Sales department.
• Coordinate and control costs of specialized vendor products, including invoice approval.
