Requirements

Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement (Class A not required).
Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic mechanical knowledge for truck inspections.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull objects over 100 pounds consistently.

Responsibilities

Operate a rear-load garbage truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
Manually load and unload waste and recyclables - lifting, pushing, and pulling objects over 100 pounds throughout the day.
Navigate tight streets, alleys, and industrial zones in all weather conditions.
Use hydraulic controls to lift and empty containers at disposal sites.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
Interact professionally with customers while working independently and staying on schedule.
