About The Position
The Commercial Portfolio Manager is responsible for collaborating with Commercial Relationship Managers on deal structure and underwriting efforts. This role involves preparing well-written Loan Presentation and Deal Vetting Memoranda, monitoring loan covenant compliance, exception reporting, and past dues construction progress to ensure loan draws are funded and documented, which may include occasional site visits. Additionally, the position requires ensuring timely reviews and renewals of commercial loans, regularly accompanying the Commercial Relationship Manager on development calls, attending client meetings and Credit Committee, and cross-selling bank products and services.
