About The Position
Sands Anderson PC is a reputable law firm with a strong focus on community associations, commercial real estate, and business law. We are expanding our Business Group and seeking an experienced attorney to join our widely recognized and respected Commercial Real Estate Team in Virginia Beach. This attorney does not need a book of business and will be stepping into a well-run, busy transactional practice! As a Commercial Real Estate Attorney, you will: Represent developers, lenders, landlords, and community associations. Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, purchase, financing, and leasing. Assist with community association formation, registration, governance, and compliance for residential, commercial, and mixed-use condominiums. Review, analyze, negotiate, and draft agreements, deeds, loan documents, leases, declarations, and covenants. Manage others to ensure timely closings and meet milestones.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in Virginia.
- 6+ years of relevant legal experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law, real estate, and related areas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
