About The Position

Are you looking to join a tenured team at an AmLaw100 firm? Nelson Mullins is seeking a midlevel associate to join its Real Estate group in our Boston office. Nelson Mullins serves the needs of the Firm’s growing list of regional and national clients from the Massachusetts capital. Boston office attorneys and professionals provide services in, among other areas, litigation, intellectual property, government relations, employment and labor, corporate services, mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, and consumer financial services. The Boston office houses a team of intellectual property attorneys and patent and technical professionals. They are scientists, engineers, and mathematicians, many with Ph.D. degrees, masters, and bachelor degrees in technical disciplines. Additionally, Boston is home to some of the attorneys in our Federal Government Strategies team who focus on government relations consulting and lobbying. All candidates are asked to submit a cover letter, resume, and a copy of their law school transcript. With more than 1,000 attorneys, policy advisors, e-discovery professionals and other business professionals across offices in California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and throughout North Carolina and South Carolina Nelson Mullins has strong roots in the business community and an appreciation for new directions in the business world.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of meaningful general corporate and commercial real estate transactional experience.
  • Skilled in drafting, reviewing and negotiating real estate and general corporate documents such as, purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, operating agreements, organizational documents, real estate leases and commercial services contracts.
  • Familiar with handling various diligence review related to real estate projects, including , title and survey matters.
  • Responsible for running real estate closings.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating real estate and general corporate documents such as, purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, operating agreements, organizational documents, real estate leases and commercial services contracts.
  • Handling various diligence review related to real estate projects, including , title and survey matters.
  • Running real estate closings.
