About The Position

Capital One is active in all aspects of commercial real estate lending with extensive experience in permanent, transitional and construction loans for a broad range of projects including multifamily housing, retail, office buildings, student housing, industrial and parking facilities. Our Agency Finance Team is an integral part of Capital One's broader Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Business and is one of the largest originators of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA loans. The Senior Director Agency Originator will be responsible for sourcing and originating Agency loans. They will also be responsible for collaborating with the balance sheet teams to establish a market presence, and provide a full suite of products to existing and new clients. Capital One's Commercial Bank looks for its leaders to demonstrate client focus, inspirational leadership, integrated problem solving and market expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience
• At least 10 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate debt originations

Nice To Haves

• At least 10 years of experience in Multifamily Agency originations
• At least 5 years of experience in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or Ginnie Mae Multifamily Affordable products

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new borrower relationships within market to stimulate deal flow
• Manage and cultivate existing borrower relationships
• Develop and expand a network of referral sources and centers of influence
• Structure Agency loans through our wide array of lending products
• Develop and close new business
• Participate in professional organizations to gain visibility and enhance the Capital One brand
• Ensure alignment with overall CRE strategy
