Job Description Responsible for reviewing and/or negotiating Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loan documents, while protecting the bank's interest, and providing management of a loan portfolio from the time the loans are approved until pay-off or maturity. In addition to construction and term loans, a typical loan portfolio may include unsecured and secured borrowing base lines of credit, subscription lines, and various other complex loan products. The CRE Administrator is an integral member of the Deal Team, and ensures protection of the Bank's interest while providing a high level of customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Must meet the requirements to be commissioned as a Notary Public
  • Five to seven or more years experience in CRE loan administration

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced level of knowledge is preferred in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending including, but not limited to, letters of credit, tax credit transactions, borrowing base lending, multi-phased construction and transactions secured by multiple collateral properties
  • Familiarity with systems such as nCino, Loan IQ, and AFS
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex CRE loans and manage a CRE loan portfolio
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Review and/or negotiate CRE loan documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage post-close portfolio activities, including covenant tracking, principle payment application, and payoff statement preparation.
  • Maintain accurate system updates in platforms such as nCino, Loan IQ, and AFS.
  • Support internal, external, and OCC audits by assembling and validating loan documentation.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth loan closing and ongoing portfolio management.
  • Provide proactive communication to support business line needs and maintain strong relationships.
